Hi I'm Brittaney and I got my first chickens a month ago. I have 9 now. I'm here to learn and grow my knowledge. I've dreamt about having a "farm" since I was little and now I'm living it out with having my own backyard chickens. I want to teach my children about caring for animals we don't normally see as "pets" and their love and attentiveness to learn has been incredible.

Yes, good husbandry is a very great skill to teach our children, especially when many tend to forget about the importance of animals.
