Hi, I'm new to BYC but have had chickens for about 7 years now. Currently have a flock of 30 hens, 1 silkie rooster, and 3 turkeys. I am new to turkeys this year and can't believe how much I like them! I don't know what breed my turkeys are, one is a 1 year old white hen and I have 2 of her babies, they are about 5 months old now. They are some kind of brown turkeys, they almost look wild! My chicken flock is a mix of probably 12 different breeds so my yard is quite colorful! They free range all day and put themselves in their coop at night. We are in western NY so winters can be a challenge. I'm always looking for ways to keep them happy and healthy. Thanks for letting me join the community!
