(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
April 2023 - started/ordered 5 chicks and 2 ducklings from Blaine's (Chicago western burbs). One chick died the first night. It was suffocated
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
4 chickens. 2 died this spring. One was egg bound and we're not sure why the second one died. Because of this, we got two golden comets.
(3) What breeds do you have?
2 rhoen ducks, 2 austrolopes and 2 golden comets
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
The ducks are hilarious, the goodies are cuddly, and the eggs.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Woodworking
