Hello, my flock is mixed mainly silver laced wyandottes and buff Orpington mix but a friend gave me a couple wild rescued hens and that is mixed in there. Also 6 heritage turkeys, bourbon Tom and royal palm is my oldest hen. We let a couple sit on eggs every year but try to keep only 10 or so chickens and six turkeys. The little red hen is a rescue, she routinely hatches at least two clutches of eggs a year of mixed turkey and chicken eggs.
