We got our first chicks in July. I never thought I would be a chicken mom, but I absolutely love my babies. We have 15 beautiful hens and 1 sassy rooster.

I'm glad you are enjoying your chickens! Was acquiring a cockerel an accident or did you purposefully get one male? I was just curious, since about 1 in 10 "pullets" seem to turn into cockerels. (I love my roosters, though.)
