Hello, I'm Margie and I live in Williamsburg Virginia. This is my second year of being a chicken parent and regardless of the challenges, I love it. I currently have 9 hens (I would list all their names but it would be too long of a message lol) and 1 Rooster (Silky aka The Stud) I lost 2 hens to a racoon a few months ago.
I joined this group to share my short experience when useful, but most importantly to learn how to be a better chicken keeper from more experienced homesteaders.
