(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? Very new to chickens, got our first ones ever last week.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? I have 7 as I read online that it was better to have odd numbers to help with the hierarchy of them. ( not sure if that's true)
(3) What breeds do you have? Brahama, Cinnamon Queen and Starlight green eggers
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? I dont have a favorite yet cause I'm so new, but its exciting watching them grow so fast
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? I love to cook, craft, game and camp.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I have a large family of pets, we have 4 cats, 3 dogs and our new 7 chicks. Its just my husband and I. I'm a full-time student getting my BA in corporate accounting. Being able to grow our own food has always been important to me, but my husband is military so we move A LOT, it makes it hard to truly get into the kind of farming I want to.
