(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I am new to chickens but my husband is not. We have had chickens now for 1 year.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 16 hens and 1 rooster
(3) What breeds do you have? Buff Orpington
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? We free range our chickens and I just love looking out in our backyard and seeing them all over. Any time we go out in our backyard they always run up to us. They are just fun to be around.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Right now we are working on our garden for this year. We live in between two lakes so in the late spring and summer time we are out on the water a lot.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. My husband and I have two male golden retrievers, Tod and Remington. We live in Arkansas and have a small homestead.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? I found BYC through Google. I wanted to join this community because anytime I had a question about anything chicken related Google always led me to this site. Thank you for allowing me to be apart of this amazing community
