Hi! We are from Delaware and this is my first time owning chickens (bonus points that our new house already had a coop, so it just made sense to fill it)! I currently have 4 15-week old chickens out in the coop, 4 2-week old chicks, and 4 3-week old chicks in the brooder. So we have a total of 12! We have 4 easter eggers, 2 black copper marans, 2 rustic rocks, and 4 lavender orpingtons! I’ve always been an animal lover, so chickens aren’t too big of a shock from me at this point! Any time I call for them, they come running out to greet me. Other than collecting chickens, and impatiently waiting for my first eggs, my fiancé and I are deep into renovations on our 1700s farmhouse! We have two dogs, both female black labs, who we lovingly refer to as “the girls”. We love to hunt, fish, take the boat out, and just be outside. I can’t wait to get to know you guys, gain some knowledge, and help out whenever I’m able to!

Well the 15 week old ones will probably lay in the next 5 weeks, hopefully. Enjoy them and the anticipation of their first Eggs. They may be small but edible and fun.
