(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I have had my little flock for a year and a half now. This is my first flock.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I have 12 chickens, 8 of which are currently laying.
(3) What breeds do you have?
I have 2 Barred Rocks, 1 Rhode Island Red, 1 Black Star, 2 Easter Eggers, 1 Olive Egger, 1 Ameraucana, 1 Auracana, 1 Golden Laced Wyandotte, 1 Silver Laced Wyandotte, and 1 Mystic Maran.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I love them. I love their personalities, I love watching them, and they just make me happy!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Gardening, cooking, baking, canning, camping, drawing, and home renovation.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have 2 kids, 2 dogs, 2 rabbits, and a cat.
