Hi
Can anyone advice on what my chciken may have her, at first I thought she may just be molting or be egg bound but now i think she may have coccidiosis
She's not eating or drinking unless I syring the water and open her beak to put food in nicely and she let's me and then eats.
She's not moving around much at all just standing still, and she just stands, she doesn't seem to lay down. A few weeks ago she pooped with blood in but never did again. But now her poop is pure white and then pure white with a dark spots.
She also has terrible flakey skin and has lost some fethers.
I've done her a epsom salt bath yesterday to see if this helped her. Can anyone advice. I have pictures of her poop today. She's is currently inside in a cage on her own

If you think she has coccidiosis treat her with Corid/amprolium right away. You should see improvement within a couple days if that is the case
I have this and I've put it in her water and I started this yesterday and she's had some today syringed in. Will this work what I have??

Im not familiar with that exact product but if it’s intended to treat coccidiosis and you followed the dosing instructions you should see improvement pretty soon. If not then I will tag someone who can help more @Eggcessive

Usually eggbound chickens can't poop, but without taking any chances, it would not hurt for you to treat her for both eggbinding and coccidiosis.

I would give her a Calcium Citrate +D3, one per day for a few days if needed.

That product for pigeons contains what is used for chickens too, so it should be fine but not the same amount. They get 2 teaspoons per gallon of water of amprol 9.6% liquid (Corid). So your pigeon product is roughly 2.5X weaker than what's used to treat chickens. So you'd need 5 teaspoons or 1 tablespoon and 2 teaspoons of your product per gallon.

Give this for 5-7 days. Five if she's looking marvelous, seven if she's still a bit off.

My other idea is she could have worms. When is the last time, if ever, she was wormed? How many others do you have, and any similar symptoms?

Hi, thanks for your help. I've done eveything is can if she is egg bound, nothing seems to have changed.
She has had another poop similar to the picture but less white more brown.
I haven't wormed them, so maybe this is something I can do also. I've added calcium to her water and been giving it to her In a syringe. She's still just standing, she's walked a few steps but still not eating or drinking. Her eyes seem brighter to what she was like on Sunday.

Sorry to hear this! She looks egg bound to me?! Does she have any mites?
Treated for mites and I can't see any, done eveything i can if she was egg bound and nothing. Would she survive being egg bound for 3 to 4 days?? As that's how long I've noticed her symptoms and she is pooping but very odd looking poop white with cavier look lol.
