Good morning everyone. It's another busy morning. Dale's cutting down the Sweet Gum tree in our front yard. I will miss the shade and beautiful leaves. It's gotten huge and it's roots are lifting our sidewalk and the seed balls are wicked sharp and there are a lot of them.

I hate when trees have to be cut down. We have a big one that is coming down this year. It has finally died.

At my Casper house we had a tree stump in the front yard. We put a ring of bricks around it and filled it with dirt and turned it into a big planter. I used to fill it up with petunias, so pretty! You can see it on the left side of the house:
