Hi! I’m new here on the forum. My husband and I have been keeping chickens for about a year and a half now. We have a mixed flock of 12, including Croad Langshans, Buff Orpingtons, and Americaunas. I love their big personalities and watching their development as they grow! I’ve used BYC as a resource for a long time but only recently decided to create an account so I can participate in exchanging tips and info! Very much looking forward to being active in the community

You won't regret it. They are beautiful, more intelligent than most chickens, and most are friendly. I only have one hen left, LeeLoo, but she is a favorite. Its hard to find them anymore. I think most people pass them over, in favor of austrolorps, because langshans are not the best layers.

I bet I would love them! Even if they weren`t the best layers I would be ok with that! When the flock needs some new members I will be thinking about them!
