Oldest is 5. some we hatched last spring.
You have older birds in the northern hemisphere. They won't start laying again until late January/early February or thereabout.
Depending on the breed and age of your pullets, they may or may not start laying before the hens resume. Shorter daylight hours causes a decrease in hormone production and stops/slows ovulation. This is why chickens keepers in the northern hemisphere around the world celebrate the winter solstice almost as much as Christmas.
