Hello all, I am new to chicken keeping. I just got my chicks in the mail on Monday 6-1-09, 28 Rhode Island Red hens and 1 free exotic chick which I believe is a Golden Polish. The Golden has wing feathers that are different lengths so he may be a rooster. Not positive until it matures though. I am only keeping 6 or 7 the rest are going to a farm in Millbrook NY. I am looking forward to reading and posting in this forum.
