Thank You for the welcome. I'm sorry it took so long to write back. I just this morning found the posts. I'm happy to have found them. To answer the questions...we have 4 Star hens 2 Langshan, 1 big white hen(I think is a Del. Giant) and a feisty white rooster(I think is a Leghorn) and a little white hen also a leghorn. They all got sick and we lost 2 birds last week, so It's been a very hard couple of weeks, they are 6months old today. Had been laying eggs every day. About 6-7, when they got sick(they are all better now) they stopped laying eggs, and have not started back laying yet. They are eating very good and are on a vitamin powder (like tang) in the water, tomorrow is the 7th and last day of the antibiotic. I sure hope they start laying eggs again, then we will know they are all better. Well thats about all there is, I am happy to be here, I really enjoy having these fascinating little creatures to care for, they are truly entertaining and worth the trouble and we have grown to love the little guys.
