I am a new member and would like to introduce myself. I have never posted on a forum before so this is new to me. I am not new to chickens as I got my first chicken when I was 7 years old (a beautiful Buff Cochin Bantam hen) and have had chickens most of my live. I am now 60. However, I am thrilled to find BYC and learn more about my favorite birds. I live on a farm in Cherokee County NC with my husband of 39 years. 6 horses, 8 Nubian goats, 5 dogs, and 10 cats. I don't have any chickens at the moment but am currently looking for Rose Comb Brown Leghorns, Dominiques, and blue egg laying Americaunas which I hope to find by spring. If you raise any of these breeds and have some for sell and you are in TN, NC, GA I would be interested. I am back in college studying Animal Assisted Interactions. My hobbies are gardening and crafts.
