Hi folks, I just signed up today. I am getting a dozen chickens this spring to lay eggs. Coop construction is under way, some supplies purchased and mulling over selecting a suitable breed. I am in SW Michigan and right now am thinking of Barred Plymouth Rocks.
I look forward to some informative and civil discussions in the future. Also interested in discussions with other backyard chicken folks in my immediate locale.
