Chick starter from Purina and fresh water 1 - 2x's daily!! Start by feeding them a little in my hand and then add to their dish! Purchased a small Hobby Farms book to help us get started and spoke with a few owners, so hopefully we will be "sittin' pretty" with some farm fresh eggs of our own later this year! Thanks for your kind welcomes!

Funny! Went to the BYC Blog, not only funny but informative. Looks like there are a few things to keep in mind and watch out for as these babies grow up and older!!

Welcome..but be warned...once you start you can't stop!! Chickens I have found are alot like chips...you can never have just one!! You will love BYC..there are so many people on here that are very helpful..but it is hard to walk away from the computer some days!
