Hello everyone, I'm not only new to this site but I have my first chickens too. I have almost completed my chicken coop, it will be ready for my girls when they are old enough to be outside. I have 6 barred rocks and I'm trying to acquire 3 silkies (I have a plan for a special coop and run for them) So far the only problem was a little pasty butt issue, but a warm sitz bath took care of that. I have gotten alot of good help from all of your posts. Thank you all so much. The lady I bought my girls from recommended BYC. She said it was the best info on the web! I also have a wonderful Hubby, 2 grown sons, 7 rescue dogs, 1 cat and a senior rescue guinea pig
