I am from South Miss. Retired and now raising Red Sexlink chickens. I have 18 hens and 1 rooster, they will be 2 yrs old the 25th of Dec.
Born and raised on a cattle farm, no chickens. Now raising chickens, 1 cat and 1 dog, and pine trees.
I'm sure I will have lots of questions for you!
Thanks for this forum to get answers.

Thanks everyone!
I recently bought fish meal to use in my chickens feed. I would like some ideas on how much and how often to feed the chickens.
Someone told me the eggs would taste fishy if I used too much. Also would like to know about the pumkpin seeds, do you feed the seeds
that come pre-cleaned like in the grocery stores? Thanks!

I have never used fish meal so can't offer anything there.
What is yer goal feeding punkin seed?? I know they claim that they are a natural wormer. OK NOW keep in mind this is only MY opinion. I don't buy seeds I just get them from punkins when in season. I really don't think the seeds have helped my birds much.

Never fed fish meal but I'm sure they love it and I know they love pumpkin seeds (dryed), chickens are real good about how much food they need, I leave food out for them all day.
