Hi everyone,

I'm not even a newbie yet just learning some of the basics before jumping into the fun. I live in Middle Tennessee and want to have just a few chickens to raise primarily for eggs. I will be constructing my own coop and have found some of the posts concerning the what to do's and what not to do's very informative and helpful. I have already learned quite a bit. I look forward to joining the community.

Welcome from another Middle Tennessean. You might want to look up the Middle Tennessee thread. You'll find we have lots of chicken enthusiasts here. When you're ready to get your chickens, you can find just about any breed you want from the Middle TN folks.
