Hi, my name is Christine. I was born and raised in San Diego but have lived in Utah, Colorado, and now, Arizona. I have had my current flock for three years. Barred Rocks, Leghorns, and Americaunas. I am a nurse by trade, but in my heart, I am farmer. Hobbies include: chicken tending, gardening, sewing and quilting, crochet, welding, working on my Jeep, offroading, cooking, canning, baking, and learning how to be self sufficient.

.I also quilt. home and at church in a BEE every Tuesday for.... lost track of how many years now. Lot of fun.

Hi Roxy, I do have a lot of hobbies. They always start out with, "what would I do if I was the last one on earth and I wanted to bake a loaf of bread"? Then I learn to grow and grind wheat, catch yeast out in the environment, locate salt in nature, etc. I usually end up learning more than I had planned on.
