Hello all , hope this finds you all feeling well . I posted a question on the injuries thread not quite sure how to do this correctly. Looks as though the gardner caught one of our beloved hens with a weed wacker right across the throat. No injury thank goodness but a clean swath of feathers cut straight across about half the feather length from the skin about 4 inches long ..will the feathers mend them selves or ??

if the chicken already molted this year the feathers will likely not do any mending for a long while but if the chicken has not molted then there should be new feathers coming in soon. btw
