I am moving to northeastern NC in 2013 and plan to have a few BYC's once moved.
I am spending this year learning as much as I can about having chickens, and their care.

Currently an RN practicing in a Family Practice clinic. Own 1 dog, and a small parrot.
Had ducks, pigeons, and chickens when I was a child, which of course, my dad cared for.
I want to continue my home gardening, fruit trees, and start a beehive and raise chickens.
I am currently enrolled in a beekeeping class at the local Tech school.

I am looking forward to learning a lot from this group, hopefully meet some folks in northeast NC and southeaster VA.
