Hi All,
New to the site,not to chickens ,grew up on farm, I decided to order from Murray McMurray and was very happy the 15 ,plus the mystery chick I ordered arrived safe and sound (16 total),a few days later my daughters called me at work to tell me there was 19 in the coop and wanted to know what was up ,I should also start by saying that when I placed my order they did not have all of what I was looking for ;so I took the left overs I don't have my list in front of me but these are a few of what i ordered /received,
2 Turkens
1 Barred Rock
1 Black Star
1 Red Star
3 White Giants
3 Buff Orpingtons

they are now almost 4 weeks old and my wife says ready to move to the coop, but I just can't do it yet, she isn't to happy their in the living room but where else could I keep an eye on them

. As they have been getting there feathers we have been trying to make a positive ID on them but the one we know of for certain and cannot believe I have one

is the HAMBURG, we thought it was a Barred Rock but her blue/gray legs and distinct feather pattern gave her away last night

cant wait to see her comb, i thought I only wanted 15 or 20 but now can't wait until next spring to order 20 more and will def place it with Murray again,I'll take some pics of the girls and coop to post.

I know,but all she wants is her once a year living room back, you know ,the room no one is allowed in except for those special holidays , I added it on to the house 6 years ago and it has had more use and more visitors in the last 4 weeks with them being in there,LOL but anyhow the coop has power and water so putting them out there now would not be a problem.
