New kid on the block so to speak. I built the coop last year, but waited to get hens until now. I didn't want to winter them over. I bought 3 hens two days ago and already have eggs, how cool is that. I have 1 easter egger and 2 bantam/easter eggers. My kids have named them Ginger, Sparkle, and Rose. So far I enjoy backyardchickens.com. Any advice is always welcome.
