hellow I am 1 old hen. I raise chickens and have qyestions.

Thank You . My questine my hens have stoped laying, most are loosing feathers and are turning redish where the feathers was. I am seeing a lot of white flackes under roost. Our temp is dropping.The hens seemed to go from 18-20 eggs a day to 3-6. My hens are all 2-3 years old as I try to keep nouthing over 3-4 years old.i feed crumblels 16%,and keep water at all times.My coop is not insulated, roost is of floor. My coop is 2x4 with plywood siding. Also my nest get a lot of chicken dropping in them I clean each week add new hay,the floor is concreat

My egg production is down right now, as the days are getting so short. There is a section on the forum dedicated to egg laying, maybe posting there will bring helpful responses.

molting and lots of droppings in the nest boxes, you have a broody hen. she wants to sit.
