I am new to raising chickens but have had Chickens in my life before. My mom and dad had chickens always but I was just a egg collector. I was busy with other things. I have 8 Rhode Island Red , 2 golden lace wyandottes ,3 buff Orpington 2 black stars 2 barred rocks and a golden laced Wyandotte rooster and am getting a barred rock rooster. I rescued 6 of these chickens and have them in another pen. I am beginning to receive their trust. At first they where afraid of me but now they will eat out of my hand. I have really enjoyed reading this forum. Thanks for all the good information.
