Hi, just joined but been reading post for info for some time now. I'm married going on 16 yrs this month, we started last Feb. with four baby chicks. Now we have 36, 5 known roosters, 6 biddies and the rest hens. 2 ducks, a pair of guinea's a peahen and picking up a peacock tomorrow. We lost our polish hen 3 weeks ago a 1 biddie 2 weeks ago. Very sad, one of the roosters is hopefully recovering from an infection. He's been on antibiotics for 2 weeks. Want to learn as much about the chickens as I can. I want to try to incubate some eggs. Only had one hen go broody, she hatched all 6 of the eggs she sat on and is a good mama!
We also have 2 fur babies a 13 yr old yellow lab and a 1 yr old rescue lab/pit.
We enjoy camping, and flea markets, auctions.
