New to BYC but I know tons about chickens. I worked out a deal with a local farmer to where I can keep chickens in his coop if I predator-proof the coop and help him get a new flock started. He has a centralized barn (henhouse) with four sections of run for four different flocks or breeds. I'm getting 10 or 20 chickens. They are all Orpingtons 50/50 buff and white. Patrick (the farmer) is getting the same. I will update you later on the coop and the chickens.
