You might try posting in / checking out the NY state thread for people who may have birds available near you. https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/231485/ny-chicken-lover When you have 20 posts you can also put a Want ad up on the BYC Buy-Sell-Trade forum... also, if you have a TSC etc, around here the Australorps are often one of the breeds feed stores carry.
