New here just hatching today 3 silkie x polish crested crosses and 5 buff Orpington x polish crosses. ( eggs received from a relative)
Hatched ducks before never chicks. Set up a corner of the yard with a coop and pen when they are old enough to go out
Any ideas on what they will look like as adults?

Welcome to BYC. The Polish/Silky X will have body type somewhere between Polish and Silky, five toes, probably dark skin, mulberry combs and smooth feathering. The pullets/hens will probably be good broodies. The Orpington'Polish X will be somewhat larger with smaller crests and the other traits listed for the Silky X. Good luck with the hatch.
 
So far all 3 silkie eggs hatched. Two of the buff are starting the other 3 nothing yet. All eggs candled and confirmed fertile/ developing so hopefully we get a few more!

Update. 2 of the buff orhington x polish hatched. Unfortunately one didn't make it. The other 3 eggs also no sound or pipping all three dead in shell with fairly large yolk thinking they died 4-5 days before hatch. So ended up with a 50% hatch/ survival rate. Chicks all black although the orph cross has a little yellow on face the silkie x polish crosses one has 4 toes each foot one has double rear toes on both feet and one has double rear toes on one foot!
