Hello everyone!!!
My name is Dennis and I am from michigan. I have been a member of BYC since October 2013. I finally decided to stop stalking all the forums and posts and participate in this great community you all have here

My flock started with 4 hens. 2 sex links an austrolorp and a white leghorn.
Well as what I've read from a lot of ppl on here once you start with a few it soon becomes many lol as I have added some more additions.
This spring my 4 has become 11

. We have added 3 EE 1 Golden Sebright and just recently acquired 3 more chicks from my sons science class project lol
Well that's a little bit about what I have here in my neck if the woods. Look forward to talking to everyone on the threads

Welcome to BYC, Dennis! Are your Sex Links Black or Red? I have some Black Sex Links and Black Australorps and love them both. They are great layer of large, brown eggs.
 
Thanks for all the welcomes everyone...my sex links are red Michael. They are great layers. One of them laid an egg every day throughout winter with no extra light provided

If you go to "where am I, where are you," in the social forum, you can locate the Michigan thread and post on it. You may find you have a lot of chicken neighbors.
