Hello from central Illinois. I enjoy reading and learning whatever I can from the post on BYC. My family and I are new to chickens and are really getting into raising nice quality birds. We have several different breeds as we wanted to see what breed we were going to prefer. Our 4h/showbirds are New Hampshires and Buff Brahma Bantams. We have raised New Hampshires for two years now and are looking to add a different large fowl breed, maybe some standard cochins or langshans. We will see. Thanks
