Hi everyone,
My name is Melissa. I am from south florida where I have a small farm. We have horses and zebu cattle. My husband grew up raising O rpington chickens and got me hooked on them. We are starting our small flock and had our first successful hatching of eggs. We were so excited to have 7 of the 12 hatch. We plan on having a flock of jubilee and gold laced.

I've raised them for years and they are very hardy, calm and gentle (my children, and now my granddaughter) made lap pets of them, and they are good layers of nice, large, brown eggs.
