My name is Aubrie, I live in Michigan! In the U.S.A. I'm 18 years old I have A mom and a dad. Two brothers. Two sisters, a dog, two cats, and a guinea pig! We have quite the clan! I have two chickens! I know this may sound bad but I don't really know what my chickens are.....I believe they are Buff Plymouth Rocks. ones is blonde and red and one is all red!

I love them! <3 On April of 2014 we got six chickens! Which we thought were all girls.......But they wert. We got four roosters and two hens!!!

We got two Rhode island reds, and two Black Plymouth Rocks! we got them from our local tractors supply. They said that they were all girls. We had to put all four down because we cant have roosters in our neighborhood. Anyway...I will post some photos soon! And some more Threads! I'm glad to be on this site!

Hi Aubrey, getting roosters by accident seems to happen to most people. Sometimes you can find them homes on craig's list, feed stores might take them to sell, or someone may trade you hens for one or two.
 
Welcome to BYC, Aubrie. Glad you decided to our flock. I'm sorry about what happened with the roosters. Hopefully you can get some more hens. I'll look forward to seeing your pics.
