hello
I go by shoetou but my name is mark . I am new to this forum I will be looking for all the info I can get my hand on for razing and the care of Guinea hens from keets to adult birds. the first question I have when I get my keets can I bed them in saw dust ?

I don't think raising keeps would be different from chicks, but you should post your questions under Other BY Poultry - Theres a forum for guinea fowl.

Most don't recommend sawdust, but shavings. IMO they would likely eat the sawdust and not be able to tell it from food? And there may be some respiratory problems with sawdust?

Definitely check out the link twocrows left. I would think that the sawdust might be a little too dusty too.
