Hey y'all!
My name is Marcie and I have fallen in love with chickens! I live in New Iberia Louisiana with my husband. I have 4 kids and 6 gorgeous grands! We also have 3 dogs.
I own a small art supply store in an art gallery and I've been making hand bound journals.
We are very new to having chickens. It all started with my son getting 2 chicks for a homeschool biology class. They are Rhode Island Reds and are about a month old now. They are so sweet and funny. At the moment, I have 6 two week old Gold Sex Linked chicks in my dining room. They are precious. I will be giving 2 of them away as we didn't want that many chickens and did not make coop big enough.
I am learning a lot on this website. I had one chick today having trouble pooping, but, after researching and reading posts, I believe she is on the mend.
I am glad to have access to such knowledgeable people who can help me raise the best chickens ever!
Oh....did I mention I'm a WHODAT for life!!!
