Barred rocks are great chickens! I hope you can find some hens!

Nice to meet you Matt. Welcome to Backyard chickens. Barred rock are very common, the feed stores always seem to have some. You do you think you can't get any for your rooster?

I can get some for him but his ffoots alittle messed up and i dont know if it will harm the hens
