My wife and I are happy new BYC members and just started our little flock on Saturday. We have four cute little hens a month or two from laying age but are already loving them and regretting not getting 6 hens right away! We can't believe how much fun we are having interacting with them and learning as much as we can about how best to raise our little flock and keep thenm as happy as can be! We couldn't have started this adventure without all of the help and advice we found on BYC and are exctied to contribute what we learn as well! Thanks for everything so far BackYardChicken members!

Well since we're Wisconsin Natives I would possibly argue that one with you; ) but seeing as we got our Texas chickens from a farmer who is originally from Wisconsin... I'd say they're the most perfect of chickens that exist. Texas-Wisconsin hybrids just like us
