Hello everyone, My wife (Fletchers) and I just started, and when I say just I mean we are really newbies. That being said I welcome any and all advice. Currently we have 10 hens, 4 Roster (rookie mistake by buying straight run chicks) and we also just picked up 6, 4 days old Iso brown sexed chicks. I have a pretty large run and I will be adding another coop to the existing coop so our ladies and fellas (eventually it will be 1 fella maybe 2) can roost in style.

If you install two coops in one run, they are all likely to pile into one of them (once the littles are part of the main flock) - just something to be aware of.
