Hey all! I'm so excited to join! I can't wait to learn and share with all you fellow chicken tenders!

Here's me and my girl Buttless. I rescued her back in February. She's probably about 1 year and I'm not sure what kind of hen she is. Best I can google is a Game Hen

We live in Florida and I've had chickens for a little more than 3 years! 20200608_200251.jpg

Thank you so much! She wasn't always as trusting! When I brought her home. If you looked at her she would get so scared! Someone abandoned about 25 chickens in the woods. In hopes that "a predator will eat them". She still refuses to sleep in the coop. But. Thats ok. Maybe one day! She seems happy!

Gosh, people can be awful! I am so glad you were able to rescue her!
 
The original owners could have offered them all for a token amount or even free to get rid of them. After all they didn't care if they all got eaten. Maybe the "great feather stalker chicken angel" will pay them a visit and scare them out of eating even store bought chickens for the rest of their days.
