I recently rescued 2 baby ducks. One had a leg issue once they were fully grown and healthy by integrated them to my existing flock of one male two female. I believe.
The 2 new ones are 1 male 1 female and my existing male is being very aggressive. They have slowly started to accept each other. But the new male's neck is missing. All its feathers and scenes a bit raw.Do I leave them or remove one and start all over after its healed.

Thank you I am always reading through and loving all the advice..and now Im the one that needs help. Plus what do I put on the neck to help heal and possibly deter the drake?

I hate to tell you, but it most likely won’t stop or work. Two males with three females will always be a fight. I tried it when I started out too. Eventually they worked it out between them but went after the girls instead. I ended up with two injured females, one with hip issues and one blind in one eye. And, eventually, I had to get rid of both males because they never forgave a female who chose the other male.
For now, seperate the drakes. I would put Silver Honey on the wound. They sell it at feed/pet stores. You will save yourself a lot of heartache and issues if you choose one drake now and rehome the other.

Thank you for rescuing the two ducklings. If one is a male, he will not be safe with your existing male. And cannot be integrated. Ducks know who is male and who is female before we do! It sounds like one of your new ones is a drake

Basically you need to separate the new drake. You might either rehome him, or keep both of your new ducks in a separate flock from your original flock. That means separate pen during the day and separate sleeping arrangements.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Please let us know how you decide to manage the situation.
