hello everyone. My name is Lisa, and i am hoping to show chickens in 4-H this year.
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Not new to chickens and i have no idea, lol.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
None, the raccoons killed them all like 1-2 years ago.
We are getting some hatching eggs today. We are going to coon proof our old pen before the chickens are ready to go outside ( i felt i needed to say this so you know the chickens will be safe).
(3) What breeds do you have?
none, but i like any bantams and any with feathered feet.
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
My sister is a member and I enjoyed watching when shes online, so i finally joined. Her username is: eestep8
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Most Crafts, cooking, horseback riding, gardening.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Lets see i'll list all pets owned by family. We have 1 dog, 8 cats, 8 parakeets (only 2 are mine), 1 guinea pig (my sisters), and in my fish tank i have 1 snail and 2 baby platys.
I am trying to get my mom to let me have some ducks so i might have some soon. I am showing horses for the first time this year.
