I live in Louisiana. I have had chickens for 1 1/2 yrs. Prior to that had a flock abt 25 yrs ago.
Currently I have 13 chickens in 2 separate runs and coops
I have a mixed flock of: Road Island Red, Black Astroloph,Buff Orphington, Copper Maran, Buff Bramaha, Whiting True Blue and a couple others that I cant identify.
I like raising chickens they all have different personalities. I also like raising chicks. I just have limited space so not an option at the moment.
I do a lot of gardening. I also like to fish in may spare (haha) time
I have 3 sons and 2 grandsons. I love to share the wealth of my eggs with my family. I sell real estate and own a carwash.
I found BYC when I googled symptoms of one of my sick chickens.
