New mom adopted chicks and now not laying?

My beautiful black marans went so broody we let her sit on eggs for a few weeks then took them away and tucked three chicks under her. It worked like a charm and she has been the best moma! The problem is she hasen't laid an egg over two weeks, very unusual for her. Her behavior is normal and she happily takes her little ones with her everywhere she goes as she teaches them the ropes. Any ideas? Is this normal? Thanks!

A new momma take awhile to lay again. Her hormones need time to regulate and her focus will be on her new babies. She will lay again....when she is ready.
