New mom HELP!!

My Hubby bought me two mallard ducklings a week before Easter from our local TSC. I'm just looking for some advice on the age and gender. Also one of my babies has a crusty eye. It looks like the socket is not big enough for the actual eyeball. They are just starting to get feather like fruff on thier bottoms and wings. Any help would be greatly appreciated if you need pics just let me know and I can upload some tomorrow. I got one as my avatar but they were being turds and being very loud when I tried to take better pics lol!
