New mommy to baby chicks

Hi, just this past Friday I went and picked up 6 baby silkie chicks. When we got home I could tell 1 wasn't doing so good. It didn't make it threw the night. Neither did 2 others. And today a fourth passed. Now the person I got them from said they were a week old but I went yesterday and got 4 more chicks from someone different that said theirs are a week old and they are much bigger then the silkies I got. As far as I know I've done everything right. I have them in a big tub with bedding food water and a heat lamp, I keep the water and food clean, I keep the bedding clean and dry, but the silkie keeps dying someone please help! This is the container they are in before I added them and the bedding. And my daughter standing next to it is to show how big the container is. My daughter is 5

Floor temperature? What are you feeding?

I suspect someone sold you sick chicks, and that it's not anything you've done.

EDT: it is a chick safe bulb, right? Teflon coating emits poisonous fumes.

That tote is too small. It would be very difficult to correctly control the temperature. The question about the bulb being Teflon coated is important too.

Double check the box, sometimes employees don't know things.

Highly likely with a heat bulb. Get a thermometer and check what the temp is under that lamp.
