That tub is way too small, not enough floor space. A rectangle shaped 55qt. Rubbermaid tote would be better. It would provide a cool area and a warm area, with the lamp situated at one end of the tote.
What kind of bedding are you using? Cedar shavings give off VOC's that are toxic to chicks. Also check the temperature on the floor of the brooder at the chick's height. Should be around 90°F. You will need to lower the temp by 5°F per week until they are fully feathered and can regulate their own temperature.
